Presidential candidate from Builders' Union refused to take part in election
Astana. April 29. KazTAG - Talgat Yergaliyev, presidential candidate from the Union of Builders of Kazakhstan, has refused to take part in the election, reports Ak Zhol party.
"Talgat Yergaliyev has declared about his intention to recall his application from the Central Electoral Commission and readiness to take part in the pre-electoral campaign of Daniya Yespayeva," reads the message.
According to Azat Peruashev, chairman of the party, he met Yergaliyev following his application to CEC.
"There was a secret voting on six candidates, where the head of the union took 31.6% of votes and took the second place. Peruashev said that he respects the right of Yergaliyev to promote his candidature. Moreover taking into account his high result at the party voting his steps are clear. But he reminded about the decision of the congress for all six primaries candidates to enter the team of the only candidate from the party - Yespayeva," added Ak Zhol party.
