Presidents of Kazakhstan and Finland discussed prospects for cooperation

Astana. November 13. KazTAG – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Alexander Stubb , President of Finland,  on the sidelines of the 29th UN Climate Change Conference, where they discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral relations, reports Akorda.
“On the sidelines of the 29th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with President of Finland Alexander Stubb,” reads the report.
The parties confirmed their readiness to develop cooperation in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Tokayev and Stubb also discussed successful interaction with Finnish companies in the pharmaceutical, mechanical engineering and engineering industries.
The presidents shared their views on the international agenda and cooperation within the framework of multilateral organizations, including the OSCE, where Finland currently chairs.
Following the talks, an agreement was reached on mutual visits that will strengthen the partnership between Kazakhstan and Finland.
