Pretrial investigation initiated following conflict between local and foreign workers in Zhairem

Almaty. August 13. KazTAG - Pretrial investigation has been initiated on the fact of conflict between the local and foreign workers at Zhairemskiy mining-enrichment combine, reports the police department of the Karaganda region.
"There was a conflict between the workers of the mining-enrichment plant on August 12 in Zhairem village, Karaganda region. The participants of the conflict suffered light body injuries. Pretrial investigation has been initiated under part 3 Art.293 (hooliganism-KazTAG). Investigation will reveal all the circumstances of the incident," reads the message.
The situation is stable in Zhairem village, said the police.
