Pretrial investigation initiated following crash of light aircraft in Karaganda
Almaty. April 22. KazTAG - Pre-trial investigation has been initiated following crash of a light aircraft in Karaganda, said Bakytzhan Kudiyarov, representative of the press service of the Karaganda Police Department.
“Pre-trial investigation is underway under art. 344 (violation of safety rules for the movement or operation of rail, air, sea or river transport) of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan. At the moment, an investigative group of the Karaganda region police department and a line police together with aviation service staff are working at the scene of the incident. They will conduct a thorough inspection of the scene. Circumstances are being investigated. A number of examinations have been appointed," he said.
The aircraft FK14 Polaris crashed at Balapan aerodrome (Karaganda) on April 21 at 16.25. Instructor Artemov and pilot Aukeshev died in the crash.
