Prices for agricultural products in Kazakhstan increased by 13.3% in 2014

Astana.  January 9. KazTAG - The agricultural products prices  increased by 13.3% in Kazakhstan in 2014, reports the statistics committee of the Ministry of National Economy.
According to statistics,  crop production, sold by agricultural enterprises, has become more expensive by 20.8%, animal products - by 2.4%.
Over the past year the price of wheat increased by 24.7%, rice - by 19.6%, barley - by 9.5%, maize - by 7.4%, millet - by 1.8%, and buckwheat price decreased by 15.4%, rye - 6.5%, oats - 2.6%.
Onions rose by 39.8%, potatoes - by 22.5%, cabbage - by 21.8%, dining carrots - by 16.4%, beet - 14.4%. Prices of peas increased by 18.7%, sugar beet - by 5.6%, and sunflower seeds fell by 4.5%,  raw tobacco - 3.9%, raw cotton - 2.6% .
Poultry increased in price by 12.4%, pork- by 6.4%, horse meat - by 4.5%, cattle - by 2.7%, sheep - by 2.6%. The price of eggs decreased by 21.5%, wool - by 1.4%, while raw milk increased by 10.3%.
