Prices for foodstuffs in Kazakhstan rose by 7.3% in June in annual terms - Statistics Agency

Astana. July 1. KazTAG - Prices of food products in Kazakhstan in June 2014 increased by 7.3% compared with the corresponding month in 2013, reports the Statistics Agency.

According to the statistics, in June sugar prices rose by 15.3%, fruits and vegetables - by 13.7%, dairy products - by 10.1%, fish and seafood - 8.6%, alcoholic beverages - 8.1%, flour, coffee, tea and cocoa - by 7.2%, pasta - by 7.1%, bakery and pastry products - 7%, confectionery products - by 5.9%, bread - 5%, oils and fats - 0.9%.

Cereals prices reduced by 4.5%.

The prices for meat and meat products in the reported period amounted to 2.2%. The price level for sausages increased by 8.3%, horse meat - by 3.6%, pork - by 3.1%, beef - 0.4%, mutton - by 0.2%, poultry prices fell by 0 6%.
