Prices for socially important products have decreased in Kazakhstan

Almaty. May 27. KazTAG – Prices for socially important products in Kazakhstan decreased by 0.1% over the past week, the government press service reports.  

“From the beginning of the year to May 21, the rise in prices for socially important products in Kazakhstan slowed down to 0.2%. Over the past week, the figure was 0.1%,” the government said in a statement on Monday.

According to information, cabbage prices fell by 10.4% across the country over the week.

“Prices for sunflower oil decreased by 0.6%, buckwheat - by 0.4%, chicken eggs of category C1 - by 1.4%, cottage cheese and chicken meat - by 0.2%, kefir 2.5% fat - by 0.4%, salt and wheat flour - by 0.1%,” the information indicates.
