Prime Minister criticizes work of state bodies in digitalization issues in Kazakhstan
Astana. February 19. KazTAG - The state bodies are working on digitalization without coordination of the assigned tasks, said Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
"The state program is on a special control of the President. Considerable economic effect is expected from the program performance, which cuts down on costs in the economy. The president pays special attention on this. One year has passed since the program was adopted. There has been positive dynamics, we can see it. Legislative base has been improved, the approaches to industries, business, state management have been developed and optimized. At the same time we can see a number of problematic issues. The state bodies are conducting digitalization only within the frameworks of their directions, sometimes they do not coordinate mutually dependent tasks," said B. Sagitayev at the session of the Government.
In his words, it is necessary to conduct constant monitoring of estimation of effects from digitalization.
"Another problem is identification of digitalization potentials in this or that field," he added.
He ordered to check the Ministry of Information and Communications to bring it into a single system and work in this direction.
