Prime minister of Armenia Sargsyan resigned

Almaty. April 24. KazTAG - Prime minister of Armenia Serge Sargsyan has resigned on the background on the mass anti-governmental actions in the state, reports RBK.
"Head of the government of Armenia Sargsyan has resigned," reads the  message of the press-service of the prime minister.
In his statement S. Sargsyan marked he makes the last address to the citizens as a head of state. "Nikol Pashinyan was right. I was wrong. In this situation there are several solutions, but I will not apply any of them. It is not for me. I am leaving the post of head of our state," he said.
"The crowd is against my appointment and I perform your claims," he said.
He also acted against use of army for the conflict settlement.
As it was reported, the Defense Ministry of Armenia confirmed that service men of the peacekeeping mission joined the protest action in Yerevan on April 23. The military department said the soldiers left the unit willfully.
The mass protests against appointment of S. Sargsyan to the post of a prime minister started in Armenia on April 13.
