Prime Minister of Kazakhstan declared work of Ministry of Energy insufficient

Almaty. August 13. KazTAG —The Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan is not working hard enough, said Olzhas Bektenov ,Prime Minister.
“The work is not being done enough,” Bektenov assessed the work of the Ministry of Energy after the speech of Vice Minister of Energy Erlan Akenzhenov at a government meeting on Tuesday.
According to him, 65 memorandums have been concluded to date on the development of new types of production in the oil and gas industry.
“We need to transform them into off-take contracts now. The Ministry of Energy needs to carry out the relevant work by the end of September to guarantee the conclusion of long-term contracts with large oil and gas companies and Kazakhstani producers,” Bektenov added.
