Private taxi driver detained on suspicion of robbing a pensioner in Nur-Sultan

Astana. November 1. KazTAG - A private taxi-driver has been detained on suspicion of robbing a retired woman in Nur-Sultan, said the police department.
"He worked as a taxi driver on his private car; he was giving a ride to an elderly woman. Then he drove into a dead-end street, threatening her with scissors he took away money from her and escape. 28 years old man has been detained and identified by the woman," said the message.
The man has been taken to pre-trial facility of Nur-Sultan.
"The evidences have bene withdrawn, police are checking him on involvement to similar crimes," said the message.
