“Regarding vaccination against coronavirus infection, I would like to say when safe and effective vaccine against the coronavirus infection appears on the Kazakhstani market, vaccination will be free, first of all, for the risk group. This includes people aged over 65 , people with chronic illnesses and healthcare professionals. I think that the order of vaccination will be determined by the Government," he said.
He noted that preventive vaccinations that are not included in the vaccination calendar are voluntary and carried out on a paid basis. In particular, he noted that the flu vaccine is not included in the list of mandatory vaccinations and is not funded by the fund.
