Progress cargo ship launched from Baikonur Cosmodrome

Baikonur. August 15. KazTAG – Soyuz-2.1a rocket with Progress MS-28 cargo transport ship was launched from Baikonur pad No. 31 at 8:20:19 Astana time.
Progress MS-28 docking with the ISS is scheduled according to the standard scheme in two days on August 17.
The launch of Progress MS-28 was carried out as part of the International Space Station program. The Russian truck will deliver 2.6 tons of cargo to the international station, including: 950 kg of fuel to maintain the ISS orbit, food, water, air and parcels for astronauts, 420 liters of drinking water from the Rodnik system, 40 kg of nitrogen, as well as 1,201 kg of equipment for re-equipping the station, and a stowage of scientific equipment for conducting experiments.
