According to available information, significant defects were discovered during the inspection, on the basis of which the operation of one of the Air Astana aircraft was suspended.” According to available information, a crack about 25 centimeters wide was found in the fuselage in the tail section of the aircraft in the area of the rear luggage compartment. There is also information that the officials involved in the inspection are being pressured to include this violation, which poses a critical threat to safety, in the list of non-essential comments,” reads the request that KazTAG sent to the Prosecutor General’s Office.
