Protestors claimed to hold extraordinary session of maslikhat in Almaty
Almaty. July 1. KazTAG - Protestors have claimed to hold an extraordinary session of maslikhat in Almay.
"Maslikhat deputies are present here. I came up to them and asked them to hold an extraordinary session of maslikhat in order to consider cancellation of the 167th resolution which makes all the protest actions illegal, it limits us by the territory of this park behind Sary-Arka cinema," said Marzhan Aspandiyarova, journalist.
She has called people to notify the akimat about planned meetings, but not to ask for a permit.
"We have an initiative group. Come and notify the akimat, simply notify, we do not ask for a permit, we just inform that we will meet and authorities will be responsible for violation of law," she said.
She claimed to pass a bill on protest actions, political parties and others until August 1.
After the meeting the protestors sang the anthem of Kazakhstan.
