Proton launch scheduled on June 20 canceled
Almaty. June 4. KazTAG - The launch of "Proton-M" scheduled on June 20 has been canceled, reports the ITAR-TASS news agency.
"The launch of "Proton-M" rocket carrier with "Luch" space machine aboard planned on June 20 is not likely to take place," the message cites Alexander Daniluk, first deputy general director of CNIImash.
In his words, "this month (June-KazTAG) Protons won't fly". Daniluk indicated the commission on crash investigation will finish work on June 8.The results will be reported to the Government.
"The commission is supposed to finish work on June 8. No sensation. The final act will be ratified and presented to the Government," he said.
Earlier, a source at "Baikonur" spaceport declared the launch of "Proton-M" had been postponed preliminary until July 8.
