Public boiler house won't be constructed in Shakhan - Ministry of Energy

Astana. September 19. KazTAG - Public boiler house will not be built in Shakhan village, Karaganda region, said Sungat  Yesimkhanov, Vice Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan.
"In order to build a public boiler house in Shakhan village- much money is needed and the tariff may be too expensive. The houses will be heated by independent heating modules, there won't be any problems with heating supply," said Yesimkhanov at the press-conference.
He said independent heating modules used in Shakhan are safe.
"The tragedy happened in Shakhan because the boiler was in the basement of the house. Our colleagues from the Ministry of Industry, committee on housing affairs removed all the boilers from the basements. There is a plan. Work is underway. There are many independent heating modules throughout the state, including in schools, hospitals. They are located outside," he added.
As it was reported nine people were killed, including three children after a boiler exploded in the apartments block in Shakhan on January 1 2017.
