Quake at Kyrgyzstan-China border was felt in Almaty
Almaty. May 5. KazTAG - The quake which occurred at Kyrgyzstan-China border was felt 2-3 points in Almaty, reports seismological test-methodological expedition of the science committee of the Ministry of Science and Education.
"A quake was registered at 02.23 on May 5. The epicenter was located 288 km to the south from Almaty at the border of Kyrgyzstan and China," reads the message.
The magnitude was 6.1. The quake made up 2-3 pints in Almaty.
No information about destructions has been reported.
