"KazTransGas-Tbilisi" to be returned to Kazakhstan until the end of the year
Almaty. October 27. KazTAG - Gas distribution company of Tbilisi which belongs to "KazTransGas" will be returned to Kazakhstani management until the end of the year, reports the Trend agency with a reference to Kakha Kaladze, Vice Minister, Minister of Energy of Georgia.
In his words, "an appropriate decision has been taken by the Government of Georgia".
"Now the working groups of Georgia and Kazakhstan are solving technical issues, the work will be finished until new year," he said.
"KazTransGas" acquired "Tbilgas" company for $12.5 mln in 2006.
State management was introduced in the company in 2009 due to 80 mln lari debt ($1=1.76 lari).
A new special manager Giya Benshvili was appointed in "KazTransGas-Tbilisi" in September whose authority will be active until the end of the year.
