Astana. December 31. KazTAG - The radiation level in the village of Kalachi in Akmola region is within the allowable limit, said Aliakpar Matishev, chairman of the committee for protection of consumers' rights of the Ministry of National Economy.
"The position is clear today, we are investigating what is going on. A commission has been created, we have some time. We are conducting investigation which is in our authority- ecological and radiation background- according to our parameters it is within the allowable limit. I believe that in the near future we will get results," he said.
He added the Government and its structural departments are working on this direction with the local executive bodies.
"Thus, I am ready to discuss this issue with you next month when we get the results of the commission’s work created by the Government," he resumed.
