Reactor BH-350 MAEK-Kazatomprom planned to be transferred in state property

Almaty. April 16. KazTAG - The reactor BH-350 of MAEK-Kazatomprom in Aktau is planned to be transferred into the state property, reports Lada.kz with a reference to the akimat of Mangistau region.
The akimat of Mangistau region repeatedly applied to the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Economy, prime minister, Samruk-Kazyna on withdrawal of maintenance of BH-350 from the cost list of MAEK Kazatomprom.
"There is a protocol order of B. Sagintayev (ex prime minister, currently head of presidential office-KazTAG) dated October 25 2017. Now the Ministry of Energy and Samruk-Kazyna SWF are considering transfer BH-350 into the state property with financing of its maintenance," reads the message.
According to the publication, the maintenance costs 1.2 bn tenge per annum.
