Readiness of Kazakhstani business to EEU competition unanalyzed yet
Astana. April 11. KazTAG - There is no detailed analysis of preparedness of Kazakhstani business to face competition with the states of the Eurasian Economic Union, said Rakhim Oshakbayev, deputy chair of the national business chamber.
"As for preparedness of Kazakhstani business to competition with EEU states - we have no detailed analysis," he said.
In his words, car assembly plants are ready to face it.
"Opening of the Russian market is fundamental for them. We repeatedly referred to the buses which are made in Almaty suburb. In 2014 2500 such buses were shipped to Belarus, although there is a similar plant in Kaliningrad. Our industrial indexes were more competitive," he said.
In his words, manufacturers have been experiencing problems with access to the Russian markets. Recently the parties reached agreement that domestic transport " will be accepted " in Russia.
