Reduction of oil price crates "tension" in Kazakhstani budget - Majilisman
Astana. October 15. KazTAG - Ongoing reduction of oil price in the world creates "tension" in the budget of Kazakhstan, said Nikolay Logutov, Majilis deputy.
"I can't say it will much affect the economy of Kazakhstan. Of course, it creates tension in the budget," he said.
He added insignificant social projects may be reconsidered and optimized.
“The Government is working today, reconsidering important programs - first of all, it is social programs which stipulate increase of pension payments, welfares to poor people. There is methodic of budget formation and significant programs are retained. Less significant programs are eliminated," he added.
He said he does not see critical reduction of oil price to $40-50 in the future.
"If there is this price it will seriously affect," he said.
