Regulation on installation of child safety seats will result in corruption growth- expert
Almaty. January 6. KazTAG - The regulation on installation of child safety seats will result in increase of corruption violations, said Eduard Edokov, head of independent automobile union.
"Kazakhstan is a big state, we have 4.5 mln registered cars. If to suppose that at least a quarter of drivers have a child below 12, simultaneously there should appear 1 mln seats in sale. It is absolutely unreal. But if we suppose that there are three children in a family? This issue is very corrupt," he said.
He added before this regulation introduction there should have been organized an explanatory campaign.
"On the place of MIA I would start an explanatory campaign at least half a year in advance. The law had been prepared for two years, this regulation was introduced consciously, but almost nothing has been done," he said.
