Relatives of arrested businessman claim meeting with Tokayev

Astana. February 26. KazTAG - The relatives of Abdulgani Bedelkhan, arrested businessman- ex-holder of Diplomat hotel, claimed a meeting with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of Kazakhstan at the square in front of Akorda.
"We claim Tokayev to accept us. The prosecutor's office did not help us. My son has been in pre-trial detention center for 3.5 months. We will be standing here until he accepts us, or I will put petrol on me and set myself on fire," said Sulushash, mother of the businessman
Six people arrived to the square wearing T-shirts with an image of Bedelkhan. The wife of the businessman and one more woman with infants came with prams. All of them arrived from Shymkent.
Policemen attempted to grab the banners from the protesters but failed.
Then a policeman invited the protestors to Aida Balayeva, president's assistant, but the protestors refused.
"We don't believe you, let Balayeva come here," they said.
According to the protestors, Bedelkhan has been imprisoned illegally, although he returned Diplomat hotel to the claimant, he has not been released.
