Remote biometrics system for receiving financial services is launched in Kazakhstan

Astana. October 1. KazTAG - A remote biometrics system for the provision of financial services will be launched in Kazakhstan, reports the press service of the National Bank.
“The National Bank of Kazakhstan is launching a remote biometric identification service for the financial services from October 1, 2020. This service provides for the possibility of obtaining financial services without physically visiting a financial institution using face recognition technology. The operator of the system is a subsidiary of the National Bank - the Republican State Enterprise “Kazakhstan Center for Interbank Settlements”," reads the statement.
