"During the meeting of the Council of the Regional Anti-Terrorism Structure (RATS) of the SCO, involving the representatives of the special services of eight member states of the organization, the issue of training specialists to identify and prevent the use of the Internet for terrorist, separatist and extremist purposes will be considered," reports the Center for Public Relations.
In addition, the meeting will consider the proposals developed by a group of experts on joint work in this area.
The agenda of the meeting includes issues of conducting joint anti-terrorism exercises in 2019 and a joint border operation “Solidarity - 2019-2021”.
The meeting participants will also consider the issues of a secure communication system between the competent authorities of the SCO states and a number of other hot issues of cooperation for countering terrorism.
