Revenue from toll roads increased by 3.5 times in Kazakhstan in 2019

Astana. January 23. KazTAG – The revenue of Kazakhstan from toll roads increased by 3.5 times in 2019 , reports the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of Kazakhstan.
"By the results of last year the revenues from four toll roads at Nur-Sultan-Schuchinsk, Nur-Sultan-Temirtau, Almaty-Khorgos and Almaty-Kapshagay amounted to 5.4 bn tenge. In comparison to the year of 2018 the revenues increased by 3.5 times. When tolling was introduced only at Nur-Sultan-Shuchinsk motorway, the revenue amounted to 1.5 bn tenge. Now the length of toll roads makes 682 km," said the report.
3.8 bn tenge were spent on the roads maintenance, 1.6 bn tenge on servicing of tolling system.
