Almaty. June 24. KazTAG - The risk of contracting coronavirus on pedestrian streets makes 4%, said Zhandarbek Bekshin , chief sanitary doctor of Almaty.
"The likelihood of contracting coronavirus in public transport is 17%, in markets - 12%, in public catering - 7%, in parks and on pedestrian streets, where there is a massive crowd of people - 4%," he said
At the same time, he noted that the greatest number of infections occurs in supermarkets and hypermarkets.
“28% of infections of city residents occurred in supermarkets, hypermarkets, 5% - in shopping and entertainment centers and trading houses, 3% - in intra-quarter non-food stores,” he said.
According to Bekshin, the largest number of cases - 38% - was recorded among people aged from 20 to 38, 25% of cases were recorded among people aged 40 to 60 years, and another 20% are people over 70 years old.
