RK Parliament ratified the agreement on security cooperation in the Caspian Sea

Astana. June 26. KazTAG - Oksana Skiban. Deputies of senate at the plenary session on Thursday approved the draft law "On ratification of the Agreement on Security Cooperation in the Caspian Sea,"  reports the agency. 
"The parties in the agreement cooperate in the fight against terrorism, organized crime, trafficking in arms and all types of ammunition, explosives and poisonous substances, military equipment, as well as illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors," - said in a text message  of the Committee profile. 
Also, the parties shall cooperate in the fight against money laundering, including crime; combat smuggling; maritime security, anti-piracy, human trafficking and illegal migration. 
"Engaged in the joint fight against illegal exploitation of biological resources (poaching)", - explained in the information. 
It is noted that the parties shall designate the competent authorities that will participate in the implementation of the agreement in the framework of its competence. 
Recall that the agreement was concluded in Baku on November 18, 2010 between Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia and Turkmenistan.
