Russia half a century lags behind Belarus on goods safety- Lukashenko
Almaty. December 4. KazTAG - Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko rejects any pretensions concerning the quality of Belarus goods, reports BelTA news agency.
"Talking about which goods are safer- Russian or Belarus, it provokes laughter not only in Belarus but also in Russia. Hopefully Russia does not offend, but they lag behind Belarus by half a century in terms of goods safety," he said.
He said the Soviet standards have been kept in Belarus and tough requirements are implied to goods in Belarus.
"Our goods are well known in Russia, Kazakhstan and other states, they buy them, and we also eat these products. We deliver the best products to the foreign markets, first of all to Russia. I reject any pretensions concerning the quality of Belarus products," he said.
