Russia learning opportunity of currency union creation in EEU
Almaty. March 11. KazTAG - Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the Central Bank and the Government of Russia to learn the chance of currency union creation within the frameworks of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), reports the Kremlin’s press-service.
"The Bank of Russia jointly with the Government of Russia in interaction with the central (national) banks of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union must designate further directions of integration in the currency and financial fields within the frameworks of the Eurasian economic union considering possibility of creation of the currency union in the perspective," reads the state.
The issue will be considered with the central banks of the member states of the Eurasian economic Union (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia) until September 1 2015.
