Russia sold weapons to more than $15 bln in 2014
Almaty. January 28. KazTAG - The volume of Russian weapons export reached more than $15 bln in 2014, said Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, at the session of commission on military-technical cooperation with foreign states, reports the RBK.
"The total sale sum exceeded $15 bln, new contracts to almost $14 bln were signed," said Putin.
In his words Russian delivers armament to more than 60 states.
Putin emphasized that one of competitive privileges of Russia is its reputation of "reliable, foreseeable partner which does not put its liabilities under dependence on any conjuncture preferences or current political conjuncture".
Vladimir Kozhin, aides to Russian President, evaluated weapons export to Russia to $14 bln in mid December.
Weapons export reached $15.7 bln in 2013, and $15.16 bln in 2012.
