Astana. May 13. KazTAG - Economy of Russia may show "zero" growth by the results of this year, said Kairat Kelimbetov, chairman of the National Bank.

"Big concerns are connected with intensified regime of sanctions in respect of our biggest trade partner- Russia. You know, 36% of import to Kazakhstan is Russian products, 7% of our export flows to the Russian market. We have been witnessing big outflow of capital this year, most likely there will be zero economy growth in Russia," he said.

In his words "it is not very good news for Kazakhstan as our economies are strongly interconnected". Currently possible measures are being considered that Kazakhstan will have to take in order to retain economic growth and inflation in case of problems in Russian economy.
