Russian railways will cease communication with many CIS states including Kazakhstan
Almaty. December 9. KazTAG - The Federal passenger company (affiliated company of Russian Railways) will cease communication with several CIS states since December 14 2014 for one year, reports the TASS news agency.
According to a representative of the company it will concern communication with Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan.
"The decision was taken within the frameworks of traffic correction in 2014-2015 and connected with low profitability of transportations on these routes," said the representative.
"The route schedule will remain active, thus, in case of necessity the train may be activated," said the interlocutor.
