"We are working in this direction. We are going to involve Russian specialists in Atyrau. We are expecting the arrival of young specialists in the region," said Makhambet Dosmukhambetov, akim of the Atyrau region.
The region lacks of 278 specialists: general practitioners, resuscitation anesthetists, obstetrician-gynecologists, infectious disease specialists and epidemiologists.
