Russian woman fined upon arrival in Astana for smoking in plane toilet

Astana. August 14. KazTAG — A Russian woman was fined upon arrival in Astana for smoking in an airplane toilet, reports the press service of the transport department.
"A 49-year-old citizen of Russia smoked a cigarette in the toilet of an aircraft. She was fined 50 MCI (T184,600)," reads the report.
The foreigner arrived on the Incheon-Astana flight.
Since the beginning of the year, the Transport Police Department has removed 351 people from aircraft for various administrative offenses. Of these, 173 were for appearing in public places in a state of alcoholic intoxication, 136 for smoking on board an aircraft, and 19 for petty hooliganism.
