"The press-service of the federation received an official letter of congratulation addressed to Olga Rypakova on her appointment in the commission of the Asian Athletics Association on August 13," reads the message.
A. Shuggumarran, secretary-general of the organization, congratulated the athlete.
"I believe you will contribute with your skills and experience, we are looking forward to your further contribution in development and success of the Asian athletics," he said in the message.
"Up to date, Kazakhstan is represented by two persons in the commissions of the regional athletics of Kazakhstan. Askhat Seisembekov, secretary-general, was appointed as a member of the commission for competitions on July 15," reads the message.
