An application has been published on the website of the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange KASE, which states that the general meeting of shareholders of QazaqGaz NC JSC will discuss the issue of Samruk-Kazyna acquiring a 100% stake in the authorized capital of AsiaGaz Chundzha.
After the transfer of ownership, QazaqGaz will place 1,000 common shares at a price of T9.29 million per security.
Boranbayev was sentenced to eight years in prison on March 31.
