Secretary General of International electro communications union told Tokayev about development of 4G and 5G

Astana. September 17. KazTAG - Houlin Zhao, secretary general of the International electro communications union, told Kassym-Jomart Tokayev about development of 4G and 5G.
"The President of Kazakhstan has received Houlin Zhao, secretary general of the International electro communications union. Houlin Zhao informed the President of Kazakhstan about the main directions of activity of the international electro communication union. He told the president about the international standards in the field of telecommunications and union developed by the organization, including 4G and 5G," reads the message of Akorda.
According to Houlin Zhao, Kazakhstan has good opportunities for use of block chain technologies, Big Data, new digital financial tools, introduction of IT technologies which are widely used in agriculture, education, health care, state governance.
Tokayev, in turn, indicated that Kazakhstan is focused on development and introduction of innovations and new technologies. He marked importance of creation of modern info-communication infrastructure in the region.
The parties have discussed the efforts of Kazakhstan and the International electro communications union in the field of informational communication technologies.
