Selling energy drinks to people aged under 21 may be banned in Kazakhstan

Astana. September 26. KazTAG - A ban on the sale of energy drinks to persons aged under 21 is being discussed in the Majilis, said Azhar Giniyat , Health Minister.
“As part of the bill “On the Health of the People,” the Majilis is considering a norm initiated by deputies banning the sale of energy drinks to persons under 21 years of age. The Ministry of Health encouraged this norm in view of the fact that young people and children are harmful to their health by drinking energy drinks. This regulation  is still being discussed, but we expect that this bill will soon be sent to the Senate,” Giniyat said at a government briefing.
