Semi-final of educational project ITeachMe starts in Nur-Sultan

Astana. July 15. KazTAG - Semi-final of the educational project ITeachMe has started in Nur-Sultan, reports Chevron's press-service.
"Semi-final of the project ITeachMe is taking place on July 15-16 2019 from 10.00 until 17.00 in the international techno-park of IT start-ups in Nur-Sultan, Nariman Mukushev, Vice Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Kazakhstan and representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science are expected to take part in the arrangement," reads the message.
The main task of the inclusive educational project ITeachMe is teaching programming, coding, project management, design, marketing, robotics industry for disabled young people.
"ITeachMe includes several stages: on-site four days educational program, on-line mentorship, creation of social IT projects. The project has become a ground where people understand the needs of disabled people and learn the skills of projects management," reads the report.
Semi-final will involve six teams seeking for the grant (prize fund- 2 mln tenge).
The organizers of the arrangement are Yerekshe Tandau-Shelek corporate fund, Chevron, Eurasia Central Asia Fund, under support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Kazakhstan.
