Sergey Gromov appointed as Vice Minister of Ecology
Astana. August 14. KazTAG - Sergey Gromov, Deputy Chairman of Senate, has been appointed as a Vice Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of Kazakhstan, reports the press-service of the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
"By the decree of the Government Sergey Gromov has been appointed as a Vice Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources," reads the message.
Sergey Gromov, aged 60, started his career in the state service in 1998, in different years he worked as an akim of a district, first deputy akim of the South Kazakhstan region, state inspector of the presidential office, in 2007-2011 he worked as a head of the office, deputy chairman, secretary of Nur Otan party; in 2011-2013 he worked as a Vice Minister of Defense, in August 2013 until January 2016 he worked as a Deputy of Senate of the V convocation, member of committee of international relations, defense and security.
From 2016 he has been working as a Deputy Chairman of Senate.
