Session of High Eurasian Economic Council opened in Astana
Astana. May 29. KazTAG - The session of high Eurasian Economic Council on the level of heads of states has been opened in Astana.
The session involves Kazakhstani leader Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of Russia Vladimir Putin and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Later the extended session involving President of Armenia Serge Sargsyan and President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev will take place.
By the results of the session the parties plan to sign an agreement on Eurasian Economic Union which will start functioning since January 1 2015. The union will form uniform market, eliminate barriers for traffic of goods, services, investments, work power, and coordinated economic policy.
The perspective integration effect is expected to make up $900 bln GDP by 2030.
