Shymkent to be closed for quarantine on April 4 at 21.00

Astana. April 3. KazTAG - Quarantine will be imposed in Shymkent on April 4 from 21.00, reports the city administration.
"In order to prevent spread of the infection Taimanov street have been closed for quarantine where infected people lived and two streets adjacent to it - Sarsenbayev and Suleimenov streets. Seven roadblocks have been installed. The inhabitants of 70 houses will be provided with food delivery.  All preventive measures are carried out. 11 people have caught coronavirus in Shymkent (...) Based on this situation, as well as on the basis of the experience of other large cities of Kazakhstan, the akim of Shymkent, in agreement with the state commission,  has imposed quarantine from 21:00 on April 4, ”  reads the statement.
