"We knew that the meeting of Kashagan investors with the Government members would take place on April 17. Two days before that we tried to know about the format of the meeting, place and time, and the agenda. We were told the session would be held behind the closed doors without explaining the reasons. There has been no briefing after the meeting, the final press-release has not been sent. Everything was kept in secret," said KazTAG reporter on the phone.

The investors were talking about the risks and that oil production is not likely to be resumed this year. While there is some certainty with the ground pipes, in the naval part researches will be held after ice melts. Time and money are needed for that, the shareholders of the project obliged to present detailed plans by the end of May," said an interlocutor.
