Six chess players to represent Kazakhstan at world championship in St. Petersburg
Almaty. December 26. KazTAG - Six chess players will represent Kazakhstan at the world championship in St. Petersburg, reports the Chess Federation of Kazakhstan.
"The world championship on rapid and blitz will start today in St. Petersburg. Kazakhstan will be represented by six best chess players - Rinat Dzhumabayev, Murtas KAshgaleyev, Rustam Khusuntdinov, Dinara Saudakasova, Zhansaya Abdumalik and Guliskhan Nakhbayeva," reads the federation.
The tournament will involve Magnus Karlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, Levon Aronyan and Sergey Karyakin.
Totally the tournament will involve over 300 chess players from 37 states who will compete for the prize fund which makes almost $2 mln.
