Size of population increased by 1.3% year on year in Kazakhstan

Astana.  February 14. KazTAG - The size of population of Kazakhstan has grown up by 1.3% year on year, reports the statistics committee of the Ministry of National Economy.
“The population of the country as of January 1, 2020 amounted to 18 632.2 thousand people, including urban population - 10 893.8 thousand (58.5%), rural population - 7 738.4 thousand (41.5%) human. Compared with January 1, 2019, the population increased by 236.5 thousand people or by 1.3%," reads the report.
The population migration balance has been negative (-32.97 thousand people): 1.128 million arrived in Kazakhstan, 1.161 million people department.
