Solar station 40 mW in capacity opened in Karaganda region
Astana. April 24. KazTAG - A solar power station 40 Mw in capacity has been opened in the Karaganda region, reports the Ministry of Energy.
"An official opening ceremony of Gulshat solar power station 40 mW in capacity took place in the village of Gulshat, Karaganda region on April 24 2019," reads the statement.
The construction started on June 7 2018.
"The station was constructed within eight months. The total investments volume within the frameworks of the project amounted to $46 mln, the project was financed for the account of direct foreign investments of Risen Energy Co. Ltd and a long-term loan of the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development," said the Ministry of Energy.
122.960 Risen Energy solar modules, 265 Huawei power collection boxes, 530 Huawei horizontal inverters, 11 TVEA step-up transformers, and a 110/35 kW substation have been installed.
The projected annual volume of electricity generation makes 58.6 million kW/h.
