"The banned extremist organization started unsanctioned meetings on September 21. Despite numerous warnings of the prosecutor’s office some people followed the provocation calls, committed illegal actions, posing threat to safety of other people. The interior affairs bodies took measures to prevent public disorder. About 50 violators have been taken to police, four of them have been brought to administrative liability," said Yerzhan Sadenov, head of police department of Nur-Sultan.
"Others were released after prophylactic talks"," he added.
He also commented on the fact of detention of allegedly underage girl.
"As for the video spread in the social networks about detention of allegedly underage girl I can say that she is 19, she was born in 2000. She was repeatedly involved in such offences. Despite the claims of police to stop participation in the unsanctioned meeting she continued and moreover, she was provoking the law enforcement officers for aggression," he added.
He added that she was also released after a prophylactic talk.
